White Oak Baptist Church

Meet the Pastor and his Wife

angerosa1aPastor Mark Angerosa was born and raised in Utica, NY and moved to Connecticut in 1984 to pursue a career in golf course management. The Lord, however, had other plans and Mark began to sense a call to the ministry shortly after His salvation in 1985.

Mark pursued his graduate studies at the Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY while serving at Candlewood Baptist Church (now Christ the Shepherd Church) in Danbury, CT. After six years as Minister of Youth and Education he accepted a call from White Oak Baptist Church to become their pastor in 1994.

Mark values fellowship and cooperation with God's people throughout the Kingdom. He has served through the Western Connecticut Baptist Association and the Baptist Convention of New England. Locally he hosts a weekly area pastors prayer meeting that has been ongoing for over 12 years. Globally, he has participated and led in 15 mission trips to island nation of Haiti, teaching and ecouraging local pastors, building a church, school and mission house and coordinating medical clinics.

Mark is especially thankful for Andrea, his wonderful wife of 22 years and a constant partner and support in the ministry. They are the proud parents of two children, Olivia, age 13, and Dominick, age 12.
